  • Wolfdogs are considered to be healthier than their domestic friends – dogs. They can be affected by quite a few diseases.
  • Wolfdogs are very powerful and athletic. Especially, those, who have more wolf percentage than dog percentage in their blood.
  • Wolfdogs like to open all the drawers and cabinets in the house. So, if you want to have one, you will need to take care of security locks on almost everything.

Which Type to Get?

If you’ve decided to get a wolfdog to your family, we recommend buying a type, which is several generations removed from the wolf. The best variants can be Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, German Shepherd, Utonagan, and Canadian Eskimo dog. If you are an amateur in owning a dog, it is not recommended to get a wolfdog of the first generation.
