Animals in Shelters, Humane Societies or Rescue Facilities
Currently in Need of Permanent Adoptive Homes

Due to the limited space available at this time, we will only be providing listings for those animals of more recent wolf heritage in urgent circumstances. We will, however, try to offer advice concerning other placements as we can.

Please note: National Wolfdog Alliance is NOT a rescue agency and does not evaluate the wolfdogs listed on these pages nor screen potential adopters. The agencies or persons in possession of the animals are the ones seeking homes for the animals and have supplied all information pertaining to those animals listed in these pages. The agencies or persons placing the animals for adoption are also responsible for screening potential adopters.

Given that it is impossible to predict with complete accuracy how any dog will react in a given situation, especially without complete knowledge of its life experiences, NWA urges the adopter to exercise caution in introducing the dog to new situations until the dog has become fully adjusted to its new environment, and the adopter has had an opportunity to become familiar with the dog's unique personality.

All contractual and legal obligations concerning this dog shall be between the adopter and the agency or individual placing the dog for adoption.

If you are willing to serve as a foster home, transporter or rescuer, please
e-mail ( rescue@wolfdogalliance.org ).
