Welcome to NWA's Ethical Guidelines Section

The National Wolfdog Alliance is dedicated to the responsible private ownership of wolves and wolfdogs and will be providing educational materials and ethical guidelines to the public in a nationwide effort to protect the rights of those who keep, breed and share their lives with wolfdogs.

In this section of the National Wolfdog Alliance's website, we will provide recommended guidelines for the responsible breeding, ownership, and rescue management of wolfdog crosses.

There are many well-intentioned individuals who are involved in the activities of owning, breeding and rescuing wolves and wolfdogs but who may lack the experience and guidance to do so in a manner that reflects favorably on the wolfdog community as a whole or is in the best interest of the animals.

It is our hope those who are involved or plan to become involved with wolfdogs will benefit from the guidelines in these pages and thereby become assets to the wolfdog community and the animals we are here to help and love so deeply.

Not all of our pages have been completed at this time, so please check back often for updates.
